From the fields of France in the 1800s to our family farm today, we are excited to grow this heirloom grain. Known for its beautiful color and nutty flavor, it is excellent for sourdough and your favorite artisan bread recipes and baked goods.  High in protein, finely ground, whole wheat flour from certified regeneratively grown hard red wheat.  The classic choice of French bakers!

One other interesting thing to note about Rouge de Bordeaux: we have found that many of our friends and family who have a gluten intolerance do not have a negative reaction to products made with Rouge de Bordeaux. We heard about the Regenerative Rouge de Bordeaux Flour and decided to give it a try. We love it! It adds a depth to our sourdough that tastes great but the most impressive thing is the nutrient density!
