I am a beginner at milling. I bought these wheat berries and it came well packed. I have been milling the flour with each and everything i make. I love the taste of this flour. So does my family. Such a great quality.
This is better than I expected, which is a good thing since I bought 48lbs! I did try it at a friend's house first, though. It bakes beautifully and tastes amazing. I've made several loaves of bread, the jam filled bars (from the LSG recipes), and also pancakes so far.
Arrived quickly and finely packaged. The hand written note was a lovely touch. I ordered 3 different kinds of grain. The white wheat batches have almost no debris in them. The red wheat had a little, which was noticeably more than zero, but not bad enough that I wouldn't order from Living Sky again. 10/10 recommend!

I’m new to this kind of baking so still trying to find my way. I haven’t tried yeast doughs yet. I’m trying to develop an edible but healthy grab and go savory egg muffin and/or snack bar. I know it’s a matter of experience and finding the right recipe.

I hadn’t used Rouge de Bordeaux berries in my baking before, so I ordered the flour to try it. I baked a loaf of bread & it was SO good! The flour is lovely & soon I’m ordering the berries so I can mill fresh made flour!

The wheat berries are clean with hardly any chaff and come in a well-sealed bag. I split half hard red and half hard white when I make a one pound loaf in my little bread machine so it takes me awhile to go through them! Can’t wait until I can order khorasan wheat, too! I love this grain. I make 3 loaves of bread every three weeks for my husband and me. I haven't bought bread since 2019. This grain along with equal parts of hard white wheat makes the best bread (I make maple honey bread)
we love it as toast or garlic toast or grilled cheese. Just good anyway we use it.

This is the first time that I’ve ever used fresh chick peas, and they are far superior to their canned counterparts. These arrived in a timely manner and were very clean. I was annoyed because I accidentally bought flour instead of grains because I mill my own flour, but I recently made bread with the flour and it was so wonderful and delicious! It was admittedly finer than what can grind it also. I will buy grains next time but the flour is wonderful!
