I'm a fairly serious home artisan bread baker. I live in the northeast now and miss the high quality baking wheats found out west. Found these guys and ordered some berries. Ground into flour with my komo mill. First few loaves I've been very pleased with. Not particularly 'thirsty' nor overly dry. Tastes very good in the recipes I've done so far. As to logistics, shipping was prompt and I like how the 48lb order came as two 24lb bags. I'll certainly buy more wheat from them in the future, and would love to see them add some other grains like rye, spelt, barley, or corn.
These wheat berries are the best! Super clean berries and they make delicious bread. Great packaging with super quick shipping. I love supporting a small family business and I’ll now be a regular customer of living sky grains.

The berries were beautiful and clean. I made 8 loaves from all Rouge de Bordeaux grain. The berries worked wonderfully.
I have not tried using the grain yet as I have others to go through. I will say that the shipping and quality looks really premium. I got a very nice note from the packer which made me feel very appreciated! I heard that your grains are super high quality and I am very much looking forward to trying them!

I have gotten a few different grains from LSG and i love the rouge de bordeaux for sourdough bread. It has a great complex flavor. i also love that its regeneratively farmed. Glad i can support a family run company and would highly recommend you do the same!
I just made my first bread with this wheat, and I could not believe the difference compared to the wheat I’ve gotten from other farms. This is far superior! My bread rose higher and has better texture. Thank you!
