I honestly haven’t had time to use the berries yet, so I can’t help in that aspect. I will say that when it arrived at my house I noticed the package was rattling a bit and it turned out there was a small hole in the wheat berry packages so a small amount had leaked into the box. No big deal for me though.

Been buying this specific flour for well over a year now - It is the best flour I have ever used and very versatile (Breads, Cookies, Gravy, Fry Batter, etc...) - We use to only buy King Arthur Flour and they lost our business, so glad I found Living Sky Grains! They surpass them in every aspect. I've tried all their varieties of Flour and cannot recommend them all enough.
Great seeds! Lately my goal is buying more bulk products locally verses from bulk-club-brand stores. And this is one of them! Blend or use plain these flax seeds in baking. They’re great.

I’ve been trying to start sourdough with a whole wheat. I’ve had 3 failed attempts but the rouge de Bordeaux did great and I’m excited to start cooking with it!
Loved the way it came packaged! I was actually splitting the order with my sister so we could both try it and was super happy to see it already in 2 25# packages. That was great. Also my husband has been gluten intolerant, but for the first time I am able to bake regular bread, pizza and stuff he can eat! I am still holding my breath, but so far he says it's digesting good! 😊 it makes me very happy!

This flour has it all-- high-extraction, high protein content, a lot of flavor. I get good structure, a creamy interior and a crispy thin crust using a very standard formula -- 80% hydration, a reasonable autolyse, an active fresh starter, a reasonable period of bulk fermentation, and steam during the bake. A very easy flour to work with. The satisfaction of buying from a family farm is a bonus.
I bought a bag of this flour to try and used it exclusively in my recipes. Within a week, my skin cleared up, the constant rashes on my hands and across my chest disappeared, and my heartburn was gone. My family loved it, too!
