The berries were very pretty and clean but there were a lot of husks still left on the wheat berry and I spent a lot of time trying to remove them.
I really liked being able to try out two different grains at an affordable price and get the free shipping. I have been extremely satisfied with the grains and made delicious breads with it.

Struggling to understand this new flour, basic white wheat. Trying to get completely away from anything bleach. My sourdough seems dense, flavor is awesome, just a struggle to get consistent rise from it. My "white" bread is rising approximately, but the sourdough is not. Wondering if my gluten strings are getting cut by the "course" grain? Or maybe I might just go back to basics and read the recipe again

I have ordered wheat berries from several different vendors the last several years, and I can honestly say that Living Sky Grains is my favorite! The grains have been cleaned well, they are shipped quickly, and the price is fabulous! Extremely clean wheat berries! They milled down super easily and made fantastic flour. I incorporated some rouge de bordeaux into cinnamon rolls and they were SO good.
Very clean and good quality wheat berries. I use this with my mockmill to have fresh milled flour for sourdough bread. My bread turns out wonderfully with these wheatberries. I do not have to pick out any random items like I have from some other companies.
