I ordered hard white and hard red wheat berries from your farm the first time and was impressed by the quality of your grains. I was excited to try Rouge de Bourdeaux next, and it did not disappoint! The berries are beautiful and super clean as always, and absolutely delicious! I mix it 50/50 with your hard red/white wheat plus some ancient grains in all my breads (yeasted and sourdough) and really love the flavor! Thank you for all these wonderful grains!

I started milling my own flour and baking fresh bread, about a year ago. I make an average of 4 loaves a week. I have tried several different grains and recipes, but recently settled on what will be my favorite...so far. I use a recipe with Rouge de Bordeaux hard red wheat, hard white wheat and Khorasan wheat. My wife and family say it is the best bread they have eaten...so far. I believe it is due to the Rouge de Bordeaux that I purchased from Living Sky Grains Farm. The berries were clean and arrived faster than I expected.
I love what this company is doing and realize it takes a lot of work to grow and mill healthy wheat grown in a responsible manner. What I also love is the flour. It bakes up very well and I've been extremely pleased with its performance. Bravo, Living Sky Grains!

This is the cleanest wheat supplier I have tried so far. I appreciate the quality while keeping it affordable, which is tough in nowadays economy. I also appreciate the thoughtful hand written note in the package, which show their care to their customer.

I had ordered the soft white wheat previously and decided to also order some hard white for my sourdough batards and sandwich loaves. I absoutley love how clean the berries are and the quality is superior. I wish I could add pictures to share just how gorgeous my bread is. I use the soft white wheat for all my cookies and sweet loaves and they come out perfect every single time. I highly recommend these and if you are on the fence about who to source from, you definitely need to jump to this side. You will be very happy you did.
I so love LSG berries. They are so clean. I do wish that the wheat wasn’t packaged in plastic. Much prefer paper bags. I appreciate how close you all are to me, that you farm regeneratively, and have clean wheat. Love love my rouge de Bordeaux.

They berries arrived within a week of purchase. They were in good quality bags. Berries haven’t had any debris in them so milling has been easy! I’ve used them in many recipes so far and they are delicious! I will definitely order more!

I originally reviewed about how nice these seeds are, but felt my mustard recipe was very spicy. After researching more I learned that the fresher the seeds are, the more heat they possess. Also learned that this hot spicy will mellow overtime. Really great to know that I received a very fresh product, and this initial flavor is common at the onset.

The mustard seeds were beautiful, and I love the idea of having them grown on a regenerative farm. I couldn’t wait to try the mustard recipe, but will need to tweak it next time due to mine being very spicy.

I've been milling and using the regenerative Rouge de Bordeaux berries for my sourdough bread, and it seems to be working really well. I use about half and half with high gluten flour but will be trying to substitute more RDB in the future. I have also used the RDB to feed my starter and it worked fine. I will be ordering more in the future. I just ordered the white whole wheat flour and look forward to mixing the two flours and baking with them.
