Emmer, also known as Farro wheat, is an ancient grain that grows wild in the fertile crescent of the Middle East. It especially had an important impact in Egypt in the Pharaonic times. Because of the ancient properties of this grain, many people have reported it being easier on digestion than modern grains, though we cannot guarantee that this will be the case. It is regeneratively grown on our farm and rich in flavor, perfect for all of your milling and sprouting needs!
As stewards of the land, we aim to give back to the environment we are fortunate to farm through regenerative agriculture and traditional know-how from the Old World. We want to do farming better than what’s been done before and are focused on continuous improvement.
