I'm a fairly serious home artisan bread baker. I live in the northeast now and miss the high quality baking wheats found out west. Found these guys and ordered some berries. Ground into flour with my komo mill. First few loaves I've been very pleased with. Not particularly 'thirsty' nor overly dry. Tastes very good in the recipes I've done so far. As to logistics, shipping was prompt and I like how the 48lb order came as two 24lb bags. I'll certainly buy more wheat from them in the future, and would love to see them add some other grains like rye, spelt, barley, or corn.
I am just beginning my journey of baking with hand ground, fresh flour. I am not an expert, but I found these berries to be clean, incredible in flavor, and fairly easy to work with. I will be buying more!
