I bought a 5 pound bag of the Rouge de Bordeaux flour from Little Creek Feed in Townsend, MT. As soon as I tried it I knew I wanted more but as a long time sourdough baker with a WonderMill I wanted the berries!
Of course, as expected, it is fabulous freshly ground and so far has been exclusively used in 3 loaves. Great oven rise in the bread pot, wonderful crumb and crust and I don't know how to describe the flavor other than "More, please!"
Living Seeds will be getting all of my wheat berry purchases from here on!
