Corn Bread

This is a classic for our family! The page in the recipe book is stained and torn as each of us kids grew up learning how to make it!
Ingredients

½ cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 ½ cups milk

1 cup yellow cornmeal
-
1 ½ cups LSG White Whole Wheat flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt
Directions
Cream the butter and sugar, add the eggs and cornmeal. Beat until well mixed.
Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Add a ⅓ of the flour to the cornmeal mixture and mix.
Add a ½ a cup of the milk and mix well.
Alternate between adding the flour and milk until all is added.
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13” pan and bake for 20 minutes at 375 F. Enjoy!
