Mediterranean Hummus Recipe

This hummus is easy to make and tastes authentic! It is best with fresh pita bread!

Ingredients

3 cups cooked chickpeas (1 ¼ cup dry chickpeas)

1-2 garlic cloves, minced

2 ice cubes
-
⅓ cup tahini
-
1 tsp kosher salt

Pinch of paprika

Juice of one large lemon (~ ¼ cup)

Olive oil, to serve
Directions
Cook the chickpeas according to the instructions on this recipe!
Puree the chickpeas in a food processor or blender with the minced garlic until a smooth, powder like mixture forms.
With the food processor running, add the ice cubes, tahini, salt, paprika, and lemon juice. If the consistency is too thick, add 1 tbsp of water at a time until smooth, creamy texture is achieved.
Spread into a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil! Serve with warm pita wedges and with your favorite veggies!
