Sourdough pancakes perfect to get rid of any discard you have on hand!

Ingredients
-
1 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
-
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
-
1 teaspoon baking soda
-
1 tablespoon maple syrup or sugar
-
3/4 teaspoon salt
-
1 cup sourdough discard at room temperature
-
3/4 cup milk or buttermilk
-
1 egg
-
2 tablespoons melted butter
-
1 tablespoon vanilla
Directions
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add the sourdough starter, milk, egg, and melted butter to the top of the dry ingredients and mix until just combined!
Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and grease with butter. Ladle 1/3 cup of batter on the hot griddle, and cook until the batter starts bubbling on top . Flip and cook until cooked through, about a minute!
Recipe Note
The batter could be a little thick or a little loose depending on the hydration of your sourdough discard. If it's too thick, add a little milk, or too thin, a little more flour!
